Heyheyhey,
Well, Today is August 2nd, which means it's my birthday! hooray! I'm 19 today, but in some way, I'm not that excited. I mean, I like the idea of being older, but I'm not as excited as I used to be for party's and greetings, I guess. It's a good thing though. As I've told you before, Witnesses don't celebrate birthdays, and this is the last one I'm ever really celebrating. 20 will be my year, since I'm sure I'll be a witness by then. I don't really know what I'm gonna do today. Oh...wait...YES I DO!
At 9am, I'm going down to a little church I used to go to five years ago, to reunite with some people. Then, after it's over, I'm going with my Aunt Debbie to the "Keep On the Watch!" convention. She was interested in seeing the drama they're holding. She's not a witness in any way, but who knows, maybe she'll like the atmosphere and the drama's, and she'll accept their ideas. A guy can hope, can't he? When I'm with my dad's side of the family, I'm pretty much alone in the Witness thing. They believe in churches and stuff. Now, my moms side, I'm never alone on that subject. Almost all of them were raised in the truth. Actually, after the convention, I'm going to my Grandma Judy's, until tomorrow afternoon. I have a bible study on Monday at Noon, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow, too.
Well, I really should be getting ready for this whole reunion thing. So, later.

What Happened to the Imaginative Titles?
Hey guys,
Hehe, no good title today. Last night's were better. =] Anywho, today is the first of august, which means my birthday is tomorrow. It's probably the last birthday I'll ever celebrate. As some of you may know, witnesses don't celebrate birthdays. Why? Because it's a pagan ritual, and as you can read in any bible, Jehovah God condemns pagan rituals. Read more at The Watchtower Magazine website, or ask a neighborhood witness about it. So, this will be my last "happy birthday". I'm turning 19 tomorrow, so I'm gonna live it up, as much as possible, which probably won't be "livin it up" too much. =P How much can happen in a small town like Buffalo? I'm going to church tomorrow morning, to have a reunion with people I knew when I went to church a few years ago. It's probably been about four or five years. Jeez. Didn't realize how long it's been.
Today is my Aunt's birthday. But of course, she'll be celebrating a lot more birthdays. I really don't get too excited about birthdays anymore. Really, it's just turning another year older. I find that the older I get, the less excited I get. I know what you're thinking; "Nineteen...older? Yeah, right". But, my sister says I'm old, of course, everyone over ten is older to her. LMAO. Not much is happening today, besides my aunts birthday party tonight. I'm hardly excited. lol. I'm not even excited on other peoples' birthdays. lol. But, who is? *sigh* Today is not an exciting one. I just finished a sketch, which I will totally upload for you guys. Or, you can catch it at my facebook! Look me up! Just type Jordan Moore. So, maybe I'll see you there! Laterz!

Keep On The Watch!
Hey guys,
The Jehovah's Witnesses yearly convention has finally come to town. The first one I've ever been to! It's at the WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia, if you want to attend. I went today, on the first day. There were 3,850 people in that arena, listening to talks. It was great, but I can't sit that long. It ran from 9:20am until 5:00pm. Sunday is supposed to be the good day, but I won't be going. One day is enough for this year. I just went to see what it was like. They passed out a new DVD produced by The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. They're the backbone of the Witnesses. It was a great day, but my feet are screaming in pain. ^_^ If you get a chance to go, I advise you to at least give it a chance. The brothers and sisters are so welcoming. If you guys like this blog, or went to the convention, drop me a line! Well, I'm off to bed! Nite!

Welcome to Memoirs of a Teenage Witness!
Hey guys,
Welcome to my blog. I created this in hopes to inspire teens like me to give their lives a change. Maybe it would help if I told you about myself. Well, my name is Jordan Moore. You can call me Jordan, Jay, JJ, BluJay, whatever you want to call me. I heart nicknames. Yeah, I totally spelled out heart. Handle it. =P Anyway, I'm an 18 year old male living in Ohio, USA. Actually, I'll be nineteen in 2 days. ^_^ I'm around 6'3'' and you'll never know how much I weigh, kay? Hey, look--that rhymes! Anywho, I have hazel-green eyes and a contagious laugh and smile--or so I'm told. I enjoy writing, drawing, dabbling on the internet, and music. You know, regular teen stuff.
I made this blog as a bible student. I know teens like me go through odd stages and feel really lost in the world. I've been going the meetings at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Forget what you heard about them, alright? Just give them a chance. It'll change you life, just like it did mine. Before I came into the truth, I had long black hair, wore eye shadow, was bisexual (having had both girlfriends and boyfriends), and was a total mess. Everything changed when my house started to go break down, and I moved to my grandmothers. I started reading the bible and publications with my Aunt Libby. It can be hard to make that change, and remain faithful to god while you are under pressure, but I know you can do it. So, why not follow me on this blog, and we can face the world as teens and young people together. If we all band together with a strong belief in God/Jehovah, we can take on anything, and resist the tempations of this corrupt world. Drop me a line if you guys ever want to talk. ^_^
You'll often see updates from me, as I go through my life trying to become a god-fearing teenager in a world full of pressure, violence, and injustice. I welcome your questions and updates. If you'd like to know more about Jehovah's Witnesses, visit http://watchtower.org, or visit your local kingdom hall. It is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make...
